Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

This policy explains what personal data stripline.org processes, why, and your rights over it. We deliberately keep it small: we store no passwords (sign-in is by email link or Google), we never see card numbers, and we don't sell data.

What we process, and why

  • Account: email address, name, optional company/phone. Used to operate your account, orders and downloads (contract).
  • Orders: items, amounts, shipping/billing address, purchase code. Used to fulfil the contract and meet tax/bookkeeping duties (legal obligation).
  • Enquiries: what you send us through the contact and quote forms, including attachments. Used to answer you (legitimate interest / pre-contract).
  • Downloads: which files were downloaded by which account. Used to operate licensing and firmware entitlements (contract, legitimate interest).
  • Technical logs: IP-derived country, user agent, security logs. Used to keep the service secure (legitimate interest).
  • Email outreach: if we emailed your company about our products, the links in that email carry a reference to your company (not to you), so we can see whether the email was useful. A visit is linked to that reference only where you accept analytics cookies (legitimate interest). Tell us and we will not write again.
  • Analytics & advertising cookies: only with your consent, per the cookie policy.

Processors we use

  • Cloudflare: hosting, storage, email delivery, security (global infrastructure).
  • Stripe: payment processing (your card data goes to Stripe, not us).
  • Google: only if you choose Google sign-in, or where you consent to Google analytics/ads cookies.
  • Microsoft: Clarity session analytics (recordings and heatmaps of how pages are used), only where you consent to analytics cookies.

Retention

Order and invoice records are kept as long as tax law requires. Account data is kept while the account exists. Enquiries are kept while relevant. Security logs are short-lived.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR/UK GDPR and CCPA) you can request access, correction, deletion, portability, or object to processing. Email support@stripline.org from your account address. Deletion requests are honoured except for records we must keep by law (e.g. invoices). You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

International transfers

Our infrastructure providers operate globally with appropriate safeguards (including standard contractual clauses where required).
