The SL-DCM-42 is a compact, high-power brushed DC motor driver from the Pico_A family, built for industrial, automotive and robotic systems where mounting space is tight and the motor needs high current. From a single 7–43 V DC supply it delivers 30 A continuously, and much higher currents during start-up and short load peaks, at 94.5 % efficiency.
One board drives a single motor in both directions, or two motors in one direction each. A four-way DIP switch selects the output configuration, the control input and soft or hard starting and stopping, so the same driver can be set up for whatever a particular machine needs. The motor is commanded by a switch and potentiometer, a switch and an analog control voltage, or a joystick, and a 3.3 V / 100 mA auxiliary output powers the controls. The driver is built with AEC-Q100 and AEC-Q101 qualified components.

Connections
Terminal T1 carries the supply (+Vm, GND) and the motor outputs M1 and M2. T2 provides the 3.3 V auxiliary output. T3 takes the two analog command inputs P/J1 and P/J2 and the two 3.3 V switch inputs In1 and In2. Four corner holes take M2.5 screws and a centre hole between the power transistors takes M3. Wiring diagrams for the bidirectional, dual unidirectional and joystick modes are shown in the product images and in the datasheet.
